Why must I feel as if I need to say yes to everyone’s requests?
Why do I feel such a deep need to be a people pleaser?
Why do I want to be liked at any cost?
God doesn’t say “yes” to every request. And that’s okay. It’s even best at times. Sometimes a “no” answer puts us on the right path for the future.
It’s the same with us. Sometimes a “no” answer puts a person on the track to finding the better solution—not necessarily the easiest one.
Both yes and no are worthwhile answers. Use both when needed and gain perspective and peace.
