I am on a quest to get healthier one step at a time. I desire to make small improvements continually. I want to walk strong daily in every way–physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. All of these areas are very important and I want to make progress in each of them. Each day’s progress may be small but that’s not the point. The point is the steady progression of one progress, then another, then still another.
I want to be true to the “me” that God designed–not the me that I have fallen into because of fear, laziness, and insecurity. As I step out in faith to make these improvements, God will clear and prepare the path ahead of me. I want to press on and take hold of that perfect path. I no longer need to let memories of the past and my own weaknesses hold me back. I can press on to catch a glimpse of the finish line where Christ will be waiting and I will hopefully hear, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
Until then I will keep looking up and forward…one step at a time…I’ll get there…
