Excuses are like a warm, security blanket. They are comfortable and give me a reason to stay the same. After all, I’ve been okay up until now. Why not stay where I am?
I don’t really want to stay where I am because deep down I know that I’m not really okay and those warm excuses aren’t really that comfortable. God made me for more. He wants me stretch, not relax in comfort too much.
Stretching and trying in life, no matter the results of your actions, leads to a regret-free future. God will always bring good results from my efforts even if those results are different from what I had in mind.
