Sometimes I have to speak a message to myself about worrying too much. Worry comes from letting my mind get ahead of itself. What am I going to do if “this” happens in the future? How would I cope if “this” or “that” happens? Instead, I need to ask myself, “What do I need to do today?” That’s it. What can I do today in accordance to how I feel today? What can I be consistent with today? Not next week. Not next month. Not next year. Today!
So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. ~ Matthew 6:34
