Nothing is too small to pray about.
On Friday, my cat was in pain. I didn’t know what was wrong but he squealed when he walked. He was quiet when he was lying still but his low growl told me not to come too close.
I got ready to take him to the vet and he promptly ran underneath of the bed where he was far from my reach and was determined to stay there.
What was I going to do? He needed help but was too scared to let me help him.
I tried to coax him out with food to no avail.
I finally prayed. Lord, can you somehow get him to come out so I can get him to the vet?
Fifteen minutes later, my cat came out on his own. He was still in pain but he was available now for me to pick him up.
Thank you, Lord, that nothing is too small to pray about. You know how many hairs are on my head and you care about everything that I care about. Amen.
Do you ever not go to God in prayer because you think that you don’t want to bother Him?
Always stop yourself from thinking that way. You are the apple of His eye and He loves you so! Go to Him with anything and everything.
I hope your kitty is better now. What a wonderful reminder of a lesson I learned long ago. I’m always ” bothering” him with the “smallest” things.
