The beginning of the week before Easter is a reminder that God is about doing new things. The old, predictable ways of doing things aren’t necessarily the right thing. Sometimes I need a new strength, a new power, a new perspective.
God is excellent at making old things new and dirty things clean. That is why we celebrate Easter. It’s a time of newness. It’s a time of redemption. It’s a time of hope.
For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. ~ Isaiah 43:19
Do you need to let go of a way of thinking that doesn’t serve you? Sometimes the first step is as simple as believing that God can and will help.
