I don’t know who started “National Everything You Do is Right Day” but it is listed as an unofficial national holiday.
Since it’s far too easy to only see my mistakes, sometimes it’s a good idea to focus on what I’m doing right. I don’t always make mistakes. I don’t always mess up. Sometimes I’m on target with what I’m supposed to do. Sometimes I do the right thing even though I wanted to do the wrong thing. And even during those times when I do mess up, I might have done something from the right motivation. I just didn’t have all of the skills yet and I needed more practice.
If I simply don’t give up, there will be a lot of positive things that I do mixed in with my mistakes. It’s all part of the process. And learning from mistakes is sometimes more valuable than not doing wrong in the first place.
So, as long as you’re not doing anything unsafe, illegal, immoral, or something that could harm another person, go ahead and stretch past your comfort zone and risk making a mistake. You just might succeed!
Have a Happy Everything you Do is Right Day!
